"I am the cleanest peeg."
|So today, I went to Lincoln Elementary to observe a sixth grade PE class. When I got to the playground, from a distance, I can tell the coach is Coach Goliger, my PE coach at Mountain Avenue in sixth grade.|
|Goliger:||Hi! Are you the CSUN girl?|
|Me:||Yes! I'm Deborah.|
|Goliger stares at my face|
|Me without expecting her to remember me:||I actually had you when I was in sixth grade.|
|Goliger:||Yea I know. You seem familiar.|
|Goliger:||OH! TALL GIRL! You're 'Tall Girl'! I remember you!!! High five!|
|Goliger:||Wow! You're still the same height! (lol) How have you been?!?!|
|omg... I had Coach Goliger over 8 years ago! She gave people nicknames and I was... uh.. Tall Girl... LOL, It's so CRAZY how she remembers me from that long ago when she has had groups of over 50 students each class and skipped around schools for EIGHT YEARS. That's insane!|
|It was so funny to watch the students do the stretches and warm-ups because they are all exactly the same. cherry-pickers, mountain climbers, and KILLERS! o m g haha|
|Twas a stressful morning looking for schools to observe at that turned into a really good one. =) <--- had to use an equal sign because the colon made it into one of the chat things... lol|
|like this - :||)|
|This was more of a pleasant surprise than Ms. Kim remembering me.. HAHA|

|So I call CV to pull Jane out of school early today, and....|
|this lady on the other end of the phone:||"oh, I need to talk to her parents, not siblings."|
|*And then she handed the phone over to the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Kim*|
|Mrs. Kim:||"Hello? What's your name?"|
|Mrs. Kim:||"Oh yea. I remember you. 동희. "|
|I don't even remember any encounters with the lady!!!|
I haven’t written a journal kinda thing for a while so I thought I should write one today… I don’t expect anyone to read this because it’s ridiculously long, but here it is! I like writing these while I remember all the details. :)

Sooo our family got up early today and went to LA for the Nielsen event thing at CGV Cinemas. In order to spread Nielsen to the Korean community, they invited people to CGV Cinemas (Korean movie theater in K-Town) to watch 공범 for free (+popcorn+a drink+an iPhone case customized with a picture taken there+a chance to win an iPad mini!). We went because my dad’s company helps advertise Nielsen or something.
ANYWAY we arrived at the CGV Cinemas mall/building at 11:20AM so that we can eat a really yummy lunch before I extract my wisdom teeth HEHE. We were also planning on eating around 11:30AM because the Nielsen event started at 12:30PM. But, when we got there, we realized Curry House opens at 12:00PM :(
So, we looked around Daiso, a Japanese store that sells everything for $1.50, for 40 minutes.
At Curry House we got:
We also got 함박 Steak with curry but forgot to take a picture of it because it came out later than the other stuff.
They were all SOOO good <333
I ❤️ Curry House!
After lunch, we watched the movie, 공범. *spoiler alert* It was about a girl and a father who loved her with all of his heart. They had a super strong relationship and everything. Then one day, the daughter watches a movie based on a true story about a child abduction. At the end of the movie that the girl watches, they play the actual recording of a phone call between the criminal and the victim’s parents. He threatened the victim’s parents by saying that their son was gonna die until he gets $100,000, and concludes the call by saying, “It’s not over until it’s over.”
The girl froze because the voice sounded just like her father’s, AND he said the same thing her father used to tell her since she was really young in order to encourage her to never give up: “It’s not over until it’s over.”
So this child abduction incident becomes a hot topic and all over the news because it has been revealed that the statute of limitations (according to Wikipedia, an enactment in a common law legal system that sets the maximum time after an event that legal proceedings based on that event may be initiated) was coming up. (So once the statute of limitations ends/expires, the criminal is off the hook). A series of things happen, and the daughter doesn’t want to believe that her father was that horrible kidnapper.
However, by the climax of the movie, she is pretty sure her father is guilty. With 10 minutes left until the statute of limitations ends at 12:00 in the morning, the daughter takes her father to the place that the criminal killed the child because she remembers the incident and things that led up to it. So she’s all, “it was you wasn’t it?! I remember everything! You remember this place!” But the dad denied her statements, seeming very innocent, just as he had the entire time throughout the movie whenever the daughter asked him if he was guilty.
So my favorite part in the movie:
Right when the digital clock in their truck changes from 11:29 to 12:00, the dad goes, “Remember… It’s not over, until it’s over… muahaha!!!”
(I was like OMGGG because I loved HOW they revealed that it was him. It was very obvious that it was him, so fact that it was him wasn’t surprising at all. But the WAY they revealed it was like DANGGGG haha! This is kinda why I’m writing about the movie in this post lol)
And then the victim’s dad jams his car into the truck, and the dad dies. Turns out, the daughter herself was kidnapped as a baby, and the father’s brother-in-law asked him to kidnap another kid for $100,000.
So yea. I LOVED the part when he goes, “Remember… It’s not over until it’s over” RIGHT when the statute of limitation is over!!!! GENIUS. EEEP! Haha
Sooo after the movie, we picked up our customized iphone cases which turned out beautifully… -______-
My hair came out so light o.o
And then we went to the dentist. My biggest concerns were the shots for the anesthetic, the pain/swelling after the extraction, and hassle of taking care of my mouth/eating only soup.
But, the anesthetic shots were not bad at all! :D I was so scared of them because I remember I cried when I was young lol. But not now, thanks to this new experience with the shot, I’m not afraid anymore! :D
But when my teeth were extracted, omg…. I wasn’t scared about the procedure because I knew I wasn’t gonna feel anything. BUT when he tried to pull out my bottom ones, holy crap… He put sooo much pressure, I thought he was gonna break my jaws! Like I was so scared I envisioned myself in the ER with shattered jaws. Luckily, that didn’t happen :) I also hated hearing the cracking and everything when he pulled the teeth out.. Omg… That made my jaw-shattering imagination even worse cuz it really sounded as if my bone was cracking. EEEP. T.T However, the procedure ended quickly. :)
The dentist was nice too. My dentist had another dentist come in to extract my wisdom teeth because my dentist didn’t specialize in working on wisdom teeth that were so slanted. The other dentist tried to calm me down by having casual conversations with the my dentist and sometimes humming (lol).
Then, I slept on the ride to Rite Aid for my painkillers and woke up in the car all by myself in the Rite Aid parking lot.
At home at 5:30PM, I wanted to take the painkillers right away so that I didn’t have to suffer later when the anesthetic wears off. But omg… My mouth was still very numb and caused a big mess… ><
I put one Vicodin in my mouth and drank some water to swallow it. I thought it went down, but it was still in my mouth. The fact that I didn’t swallow the pill the first time made me all nervous because I hate it when that happens (I feel like throwing up and ehhh… ><). When I drank more water, I started coughing /choking and eventually swallowed the pill. But I coughed and stuff with water in my mouth so I sprayed blood in parts of the bathroom and my clothes T.T. So I just took a shower and slept while my mom had to clean everything up. :(
I didn’t know where to fit this because it goes off tangent but…. when I saw that my painkillers were Vicodin, I was happy because I thought of House <3 haha! I miss House…
ANYWAY, I woke up at 7:30PM and my mouth was aching… T.T
So I took some Advil and tried to sleep again because I was instructed to take Vicodin every 4-6 hours and take Mortrin every 2 hours if necessary. And it was indeed necessary haha. We didn’t have any Mortrin so I resorted to Advil instead. This time, a lot of the numbness went away so swallowing the pill was much easier. :)
However, I had a hard time falling asleep this time because of the pain. :’(
But I eventually did and woke up at 9:30 PM. Pretty crazy, no? (Since I woke up at the perfect times to take my painkiller :D)
But this time, I felt very very sick. Like I felt nauseous and dizzy and felt my face/head feel all weird (I felt like I was gonna faint). I made it to the kitchen, took a pill, and changed my gauze. I felt like I was gonna faint my minute. So I wanted to rush to my room, but my dad wanted me to watch a slideshow he made. So I sat down to watch it, still feeling nauseous and dizzy. I saw my former preschool student’s dad in it and got happy, but didn’t have the energy to point it out to my dad.
After a few minutes of the video, I told him I wanted to go lie down because I felt horrible. However, I REALLY REALLY didn’t feel good to the point that I didn’t have the energy to get up. So I rested my head on the kitchen table, which made me feel all better :D. Like I felt this warm tingly-ness from my head work it’s way down and gave more energy. By the time I lied down on my bed, I had 식은 땀 and felt good :).
And now, I am on my phone writing this post after checking Facebook, Instagram, and stuff.
Hopefully, I will feel ok enough to go to church! My mom didn’t want me to go tomorrow, but I’ll have to seeeee.

My dentist lied to meee >:(
He said I wouldn’t swell… But I look like a chipmunk… T.T I can’t even eat 빼빼로 today… :’( Booo I can’t even rest that much today because I have stuff due tonight and on Wednesday for Math 331… Ughhh can’t wait to get over this class… </3
